Hi, I'm Steve, #11 on your vaunted list of Gah-la-guh scores. I hope the recent tournament creates renewed interest in this and all the great games in this series. My PB on 5 ships/normal fire is around 2.5m and next time it is in a tournament like Battle of the Arcades or something similar I hope to improve on the 1m or so score listed here.
Cheers and Best Wishes
Sunshine

Hi Steve,
Thats a great score! You're well on your way to the top five on the leaderboard. Looking forward to tracking your scores.

Re: Hello
Hi Guys! George Strain here. Good to see the new site taking shape. Hope it attracts a lot of scores. I just sent something in to the MAME 5-lives track for fun.
A couple of suggestions:
1) On the scoreboards, for scores which have videos or MAME inp files available, include a link to them.
2) Make new users go through some sort of activation process, or otherwise monitor the forums for spam. I speak Russian and even I don't want to read the Russian spam.
3) The Submissions for Adjudication->Adjudication Requests thread says "Please post a reply for scores to be adjudicated" but you can't actually reply to the thread.
4) I think adding scoreboards for Fast Fire is a good idea. Yes, it's much easier, and for top players a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, but there are tons of Fast Fire machines out there and IMO it can be a good "stepping stone" for learning the more difficult normal shot speed.
Cheers,
George
